It was a joy to hear the testimonies of these wonderful 10 brothers and sisters and to hear how God had brought each of them to know Him. Every testimony was unique, yet they all shared how God has completely transformed their lives. Congratulations and Praise God!

It’s Wednesday, but I’m still thinking about Easter! π
What a joyful time we were able to spend as a church together worshipping for Easter Sunday service! We had a joint service which was filled with different fellowships helping lead worship, and we heard from Pastor Dennis on Luke 24:13-35 on “No Hope Without a Resurrection”. In the sermon we saw how Jesus’ death and necessary resurrection gives us hope and an eternal perspective!
Swipe to see some highlights of our Sunday Easter service!

See you soon!
We’re potLUCKy to have each other! β€οΈπ
This past Saturday, LSF gathered together to have the annual red elephant gift exchange! Everyone enjoyed an Asian-inspired potluck which featured every variation of noodles and rice you could think of. At the gift exchange, the Jell-O money made a return and surprisingly only one waffle maker was in the mix!
Join us for our next LSF event and be sure to follow our social media accounts to stay up to date!
Me? I love meat. But I love the weak more.πβ€οΈ
This past Sunday we heard a message from 1 Corinthians 8:1-13 from Pastor Theo on “The Other’s Benefit Over Your Rights”. Through the message, Pastor Theo encouraged us to care for our brothers and sisters by intentionally prioritizing them by not stumbling them. We saw how the church is not a museum for the saints, but a hospital for the sick.
Join us again next Sunday for another message!
Curious about how to study 66 books? Want to get more value out of your daily Bible study?
Join us starting this coming Sunday for a new Sunday school class on hermeneutics. This class will help better equip us to study the Bible, and we’ll come away with practical actions we can take during our own studies. The class will start this Sunday 1/21 at 1:30pm in the room A202.

‘Tis the season for serving! π
This past Saturday, our Agape Fellowship helped serve at CityTeam Oakland. They say only God can move mountains, but our Agape volunteers moved mountains of clothes! They also helped prepare food for the shelter.
Thank you Agape for spending time helping to serve and love our community!

The best part? We learned some important facts: surprise cha siu pork is the hero, North America has more than 3 countries, and Beyonce almost became a professional bowler (IYKYK).
Thankful for the fellowship that is LSF, and see you all at our next LSF event!

Are you smarter than a Corinthian? π π
This past Sunday we heard from Pastor Dennis speak on 1 Corinthians 2:6 - 16 on “The People of God Have The Wisdom of God”. In this passage we saw how Paul wants the Corinthians to realize that the Gospel is wisdom and not folly, and that they would benefit from seeking the wisdom of God, not worldly wisdom. We were reminded that with the holy spirit we can understand the wisdom of God and we should seek to not act like the natural man.
Join us again next Sunday as we continue our sermon series in the book of 1 Corinthians!
